Frequently Asked Questions
Below are the questions we typically encounter. If you have any questions not listed here, please Contact Us.
Trash cans can pose many risks to your health. Pest, bacteria, and viruses can colonize in your trash cans and transmit to your skin when you handle them. These nuisances and the trash remnants left behind after cans are emptied can cause terrible odors.
Bin Hero has established good working relationships with many local homeowner associations. They are aware of our service and we place a branded stickers on our customer’s trash bins so it’s clear why they are being left out on the curb. If you experience any problems with your HOA as a result of our service, please let us know.
Trash bins need to be placed in exactly the same place as required by your trash collection service.
Cleaning your trash bins with a hose or pressure washer is not a through process. We use commercial-grade degreaser and 190 degree water at 3,000 pounds-per-square inch of pressure to remove all debris from dirty bins. We also sanitize your bins with industrial-strength disinfectant to remove 99.9% of all harmful substances like bacteria and viruses. Best of all, we carry away and properly dispose of all the grime and debris in our trucks. Washing these things down the sewer in front of your house is harmful to the environment.
For best results, we recommend having your trash and recycle bins cleaned monthly. If this timing doesn’t work for you, we also offer one time, every-other month, quarterly, every 6 months, and annual cleaning.
Please see our service area page for a list of areas we currently service. We are continually growing and expanding into new services areas, so contact us if your neighborhood isn’t listed yet.
